Delhi Court Acquits Man in Sexual Assault Case

Delhi Court Acquits Man in Sexual Assault Case

A man named Samad was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Delhi in 2015.

The court initially convicted him, but later, a higher court said the prosecution didn't prove the case well enough.

The court found that the woman's statements were inconsistent, important witnesses weren't called, and there was a history of conflict between the parties.

The court also noted that the initial police report was about a quarrel, not sexual assault.

Because of these issues, the court decided to acquit Samad, meaning he was found not guilty.
