Nalgonda to Receive CC Roads, Drains, 24/7 Water
Nalgonda is a town in India that is getting new roads made of cement and better drainage to keep the streets clean.
The government is also building a big water plant so people can have water all the time.
They want to get a lot of money from the central government to help with these projects.
In addition, the government is giving food and rice to families who need it.
They have also built 700 houses for people who need a home and are giving loans with no interest to help women start businesses.
The minister said all of this will help the town grow and make life better for everyone.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced plans for cement concrete roads, underground drainage, and continuous drinking water supply across Nalgonda town.
The town has already begun CC road and drainage work under its Municipal Corporation limits.
An Rs 83 crore drinking water plant foundation was laid by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, with an additional Rs 300 crore sanctioned for water infrastructure.
The government aims to secure up to Rs 1,000 crore in central development funds following Nalgonda’s upgrade to a Municipal Corporation.
Welfare measures include ration cards, fine rice distribution, 700 Indiramma houses sanctioned, and interest‑free loans for women.
