17-Year-Old Goa Student Documents Insects, Dreams Of Conservation
Ethan Xavier is a 17-year-old student in Goa who loves watching insects.
He has been interested in them since he was five years old.
He collects and documents insects such as beetles, moths and butterflies.
He has found unusual creatures, including webspinners and pill millipedes.
Ethan says insects help nature by pollinating plants, recycling nutrients and supporting food chains.
He believes animals should not be valued only for how useful they are to humans.
In the future, he wants to study entomology and make films about insects.
He hopes his work will encourage people to protect nature and notice the small creatures around them.
