Bhopal Police Launch She-Shakti Campaign Ahead of Festive Season
Bhopal police have started a campaign called She-Shakti.
It is meant to help keep women and girls safe during the festive season.
Women police officers and constables will travel through busy parts of the city.
They will patrol markets, religious places, fairs and event venues.
They will also watch areas where women may face greater risks.
Police say they will act quickly against harassment, stalking and other abuse.
Senior officers will monitor the patrol teams.
Women and girls are being asked to contact police instead of staying silent about problems.
