Suzlon Secures 201.6 MW Wind Power Order
Suzlon Energy, a company that makes wind turbines, got a big order from Waaree Group.
They will build a wind farm in Andhra Pradesh, India, that can make 201.6 MW of electricity.
This is like building 64 big windmills, each as powerful as 3.15 MW.
Suzlon will do everything from getting the land to making sure the windmills work well.
Waaree wants to make more than just solar power, and Suzlon is happy to help.
This is a big deal for both companies and shows that wind power is important for India's future.
Suzlon Energy secured a 201.6 MW wind power project order from Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEPL).
The project involves 64 units of Suzlon's S144 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 3.15 MW.
Suzlon will provide a comprehensive EPC offering, including land acquisition, turbine supply, and operations and maintenance services.
This order is part of Suzlon's growing order book in Andhra Pradesh, now close to 1 GW.
Waaree Group is diversifying its renewable portfolio beyond solar with this wind project.
