Acquitted 26/11 Case Man Allowed Jobs Without Police Clearance
A man named Faheem Ansari was accused of being involved in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks but was found not guilty by the courts.
He wanted a special certificate from the police to drive an autorickshaw, but the government said no because they think he might still be involved with a banned terror group.
The government then said he can do other jobs that don't need this special certificate.
The court will decide more about this later.
The terror attacks happened 17 years ago and many people were hurt or killed.
Faheem Ansari, acquitted in the 26/11 Mumbai terror case, can take jobs not requiring police clearance.
Government lists jobs needing police clearance: government, semi-government, municipal, RTO, schools, colleges, security guards.
Ansari sought a police clearance certificate to drive an autorickshaw but was rejected due to suspected terror links.
Court to hear the matter in chamber after police submitted a confidential report on Ansari's alleged terror association.
Ansari was acquitted in the 26/11 case but convicted in another case and served 10 years in prison.
