CJP Launches Rs 50 Lakh Fundraiser for Bankura Volunteer

Shaik Abdul Hafeez wanted people to notice problems at a government school in his village.

He visited the school as part of a campaign run by the Cockroach Janta Party.

The party says that armed men attacked Hafeez and his father at their home afterward.

Hafeez was injured, and his father, Janab Mafik, later died from serious head injuries.

The party says the attackers wanted Hafeez to apologize for discussing the school’s problems.

Hafeez reportedly refused government compensation after his father’s death.

Instead, he asked for a good school to be built and named after his father.

The party has started a Rs 50 lakh fundraiser to support Hafeez and his family.
