Chittoor Receives Mobile Forensic Vehicle for Crime Investigations
Chittoor district has received a special vehicle to help police examine evidence at crime scenes.
It carries scientific tools and screens.
Forensic staff can use it to collect evidence and do some early checks, including on blood samples.
They may be able to give an initial report at the scene.
The vehicle is expected to be especially useful in serious crimes.
Police officials say examining evidence sooner may reduce delays.
They also say better evidence can help investigators build stronger cases.
Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi said the vehicle will help police use technology and work toward speedy justice for victims.
Chittoor district received a District Mobile Forensic Vehicle to support criminal investigations under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act, 2023.
Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi and other police officials inspected the vehicle at the Chittoor Armed Reserve office.
The vehicle has scientific instruments, LCD screens and equipment for collecting and examining physical evidence at crime scenes.
