Delhi-Dharuhera Bus Route: New Interstate Service Starting Next Month
The Delhi government is starting a new bus route from Delhi to Dharuhera in Haryana next month.
This is the third interstate route added since the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) restarted its services earlier this year.
The new route will have 12 daily trips using electric buses with safety features like CCTV cameras and GPS tracking.
The DTC plans to have 100 electric buses across 17 routes but is facing challenges with charging infrastructure for long-distance trips.
To solve this, they are considering a wet-lease model where a private company will manage the bus operations.
