Maharashtra CM Slams Banks for Demanding Farmer Credit Scores
The Chief Minister of Maharashtra is upset because some banks are still asking farmers for their credit scores before giving them loans, even though they shouldn't be.
He said this can hurt the economy and lead to farmers taking their own lives.
He wants the banks to stop this practice immediately and give out more loans to farmers, especially since a good farming season is expected.
The state also approved a big plan to give out loans for the next year.
Maharashtra CM criticized banks for requesting farmers' CIBIL scores for loans.
CM urged SLBC to take action against banks seeking credit scores.
