SC defers hearing on Supertech refund plea
The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing on a request for refunds to homebuyers of the demolished Supertech twin towers in Noida for three months.
The court noted that efforts are being made to find other ways to compensate homebuyers who have not chosen alternative accommodations.
The twin towers were demolished on August 28, 2022, and the real estate company is currently undergoing insolvency proceedings.
Homebuyers claim they have not received refunds, with the last payment made in 2024.
