Washington Open Finals Postponed to Monday Due to Rain
The Washington Open tennis tournament had to delay its final matches because of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The women's final between Jessica Pegula and Alexandra Eala stopped in the second set, and the men's final between Taylor Fritz and Rafael Jodar was also put off.
The organisers said they would still let people who bought tickets for Sunday play on Monday, and they even offered extra tickets.
The same weather also caused matches at the Canadian Open in Toronto and Montreal to be postponed.
