Andheri Flyover Repairs Rise Above ₹130 Crore, Delayed To 2026

The Andheri flyover in Mumbai needs major repairs.

The repairs were first expected to cost ₹92.67 crore.

The estimated total has now risen to ₹130.36 crore, including taxes and other charges.

The work is also expected to finish in November 2026.

Engineers found that more parts, including beams and columns, needed strengthening.

They also detected vibrations while traffic was still using the flyover.

BMC must pay for the extra work after the state directed it to follow the engineers’ recommendations.

The flyover became a major concern after part of it fell onto a car in July 2024.
