Major Fire in Kolkata Warehouse
A big fire started early in the morning in a warehouse near Kolkata.
The warehouse was used to store food and drinks.
Many fire trucks worked hard to put out the fire, which took until late morning to control.
Sadly, at least eight people died, and several others are still missing.
The fire department is still checking to see if more people are trapped.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Some people think the warehouse was locked from the outside, which made it hard for workers to escape.
A major fire broke out in a warehouse in Kolkata's Anandapur area at around 3 am on Monday.
At least eight people were killed, and several others are still missing.
The warehouse stored dry and packaged food and soft drinks, and the fire spread to two adjacent warehouses.
Firefighters used 12 fire tenders and managed to partially control the blaze by 11 am.
The exact cause of the fire remains unclear, and emergency responders faced challenges due to the warehouse's location in a narrow lane.
