Mumbai police say a man flew a drone during a Ganpati immersion procession in Dadar.

The police had temporarily banned drones in Mumbai.

They say the man did not have permission to fly it.

They also say he did not have the required technical certification.

Police stopped him and took the drone and remote control.

The equipment was valued at about Rs1.56 lakh.

The man was identified as Sarvesh Gopal Sarda, who works in the private sector.

Police registered a case against him under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

This was the third drone-related case reported by Mumbai police in recent months.
