Qantas Flight Returns to Perth After Mid-East Airspace Shutdown
Imagine a big airplane that was flying from Australia to Paris.
It was going to take a really long time, about 17 hours!
But, as it was flying, there was a problem in the Middle East.
Some countries were having trouble, and the airplane couldn't fly through the sky there.
So, the pilot had to turn the plane around and go back to where it started.
The trip took 15 hours, but the plane didn't get to Paris.
Another plane going to London had to stop in Singapore.
The airline is helping the passengers, and they're watching the sky to see when it's safe to fly again.
A Qantas flight from Perth to Paris was forced to turn back after 15 hours due to the Middle East airspace shutdown.
The Boeing 787 jet had reached the edge of Indian airspace before the diversion.
