Sakra Doctors Successfully Treat Complex Preterm Case
A tiny baby girl, born early and sick, had a blocked intestine and a dangerous infection.
Doctors at Sakra World Hospital performed surgery to fix the blockage and help her intestines work better.
They also fought a strong infection.
The baby needed special care in the NICU, with help from medicines, fluids, and donor milk.
After a lot of care and monitoring, the baby got better and was able to go home, able to eat and grow.
A 20-day-old infant with breathing difficulties, unable to feed, was brought to Sakra World Hospital.
The baby was born prematurely at 33 weeks with complications and diagnosed with Type 3b jejunal atresia and malrotation.
