Mock Drill on Golden Hour in Disaster Management at Hubballi
On December 6, 2025, the Civil Defence Team at Hubballi Railway Workshop organized a mock drill to practice disaster management skills.
The drill focused on the 'Golden Hour' concept, which is the critical period after a disaster like a bomb blast when quick action can save lives.
The team demonstrated fire-fighting, first aid, and rescue techniques.
Important guests, including the Chief Workshop Manager and the Controller of Civil Defence, attended the event.
They praised the team's efforts and awarded the best performers.
This drill helped everyone learn how to respond effectively in real emergencies.
Recently, three members of the SWR Civil Defence Unit were also honored for their outstanding service.
The Civil Defence Team of Hubballi Railway Workshop conducted a mock drill on the Golden Hour Concept in Disaster Management on 06 December 2025.

Vijay Singh Yadav, Chief Workshop Manager/UBLS, was the Chief Guest, and Kuldeep, DGM(G) & Controller of Civil Defence/SWR, was the Guest of Honour.
The Chief Guest presented awards to the best performers and emphasized the importance of enhancing Civil Defence readiness.
Three members of the SWR Civil Defence Unit were recently honored with the DG Disc and Commendation Certificate for their outstanding service.
