India-US Trade Talks Near Completion
India and the US are very close to finalizing a trade deal.
The Indian rupee has been falling and reached a new low of 90.73.
This is because the trade deal with the US is taking a long time, and foreign investors are selling Indian stocks.
The US has put high taxes on Indian goods, which is hurting Indian businesses.
India is also talking to Mexico about high taxes they want to put on Indian goods.
Despite these problems, India's exports to China have increased a lot.
The Indian government is hopeful that the trade deal with the US will be finalized soon.
The Indian rupee hit an all-time low of 90.73 due to delayed trade deals and foreign investment outflows.
India and the US are close to finalizing a framework trade agreement to address high tariffs and trade barriers.
US tariffs of up to 50% on Indian goods have significantly impacted Indian exports, which fell 28% from May to October 2025.
Foreign investors have sold over $18 billion in Indian stocks, contributing to currency depreciation.
India's exports to China rose by 32.83% from April-November 2024 to 2025, showing a shift in trade dynamics.
