Hungary's Opposition Maintains Poll Lead

Hungary's Opposition Maintains Poll Lead

In Hungary, the opposition party Tisza is leading in the polls ahead of the upcoming election on April 12.

They have a 10 percentage point lead over the ruling party Fidesz, led by Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Tisza is popular among younger voters and those with higher education, while Fidesz has more support among older voters and those with primary education only.

The election is important for Europe, as Orban's policies have often clashed with the EU.

Tisza plans to fight corruption and use EU funds to help the economy if they win.
