Lawyers Allege DOJ Exposed Epstein Victims' Names
Lawyers for people who say Jeffrey Epstein hurt them are upset.
They say the government showed their names in some papers they released.
The lawyers thought the government would hide these names to protect the victims.
The victims are scared and feel like the government didn't keep its promise.
A judge told the government to explain how they will protect these names by December 1.
The government has to make all the papers public by December 19.
Lawyers allege 28 victims' names were exposed in a recent document release by the House Oversight Committee.
Victims were promised their names would be redacted, causing 'widespread panic' when they were revealed.
Attorneys claim the DOJ either doesn't know all victims' identities or intentionally exposed them.
Judge Richard Berman ordered the DOJ to detail its privacy process by December 1.
The DOJ is mandated to release all unclassified Epstein materials by December 19.
