NDMC VC Leads Tree Plantation Drive in Laxmibai Nagar
In New Delhi, the NDMC Vice Chairman and many other people planted trees in a special program called 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'.
They planted trees in the name of their mothers and promised to take care of them.
The trees planted include peepal, champa, neem, and ashoka.
This program happens every Sunday and is part of a bigger plan to make the city cleaner and healthier.
The NDMC has also planted trees in the areas of many foreign embassies to show that protecting the environment is important worldwide.
The Vice Chairman also checked some buildings and gave instructions to make them better for senior citizens and to fix some problems.

The NDMC has also planted trees in the embassy premises of over 20 countries, promoting global cooperation for environmental protection.
The campaign is conducted every Sunday, with the NDMC's Garden Department preparing an annual action plan for regular tree plantation.
