Banned Chinese manja kills 5-year-old in Hyderabad
A little girl named Nishvika Aditya was riding with her dad and sister on a motorcycle in Hyderabad.
A kite string, called manja, got wrapped around her neck and hurt her badly.
She died right away because of the cut.
This manja is very dangerous and is not allowed, but people still use it.
The police are trying to stop it by taking away the manja and arresting people who sell it.
This is not the first time this has happened.
Another man died in a similar way just a few weeks ago.
The police have taken away a lot of this dangerous manja and arrested many people, but it's still a big problem.
5-year-old Nishvika Aditya died after banned Chinese manja entangled around her neck while riding a motorcycle with her family in Hyderabad.
The incident occurred in the Kukatpally area, with the girl suffering a deep cut and dying from profuse bleeding.
This is the second fatal incident involving Chinese manja in Telangana in less than two weeks, following a similar death in Sangareddy district.
Hyderabad Police have seized thousands of bobbins of Chinese manja and arrested hundreds of people in recent months.
Despite the ban, Chinese manja was widely used during the recent Sankranti festival season, causing injuries and fatalities.
