Pune to Build VIP Washrooms with Modern Amenities
The city of Pune is building fancy bathrooms, called 'VIP washrooms', to help people who visit.
These washrooms will be at the entrances to the city and near the bus station.
They will have air conditioning, places to charge your phone and computer, and even Wi-Fi so people can freshen up comfortably.
There will be special areas for men, women, and people who have trouble moving around.
Each bathroom will cost a lot of money.
The city is also fixing up some old bathrooms just for women, so there will be more places for people to use the restroom when they're out and about.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will construct five 'VIP washrooms' at city entry points.
Each washroom will cost Rs 72 lakh and include air conditioning, charging ports, and Wi-Fi.
Facilities will cater to men, women, and people with disabilities, with staff for cleaning.
Locations include entry points from Mumbai, Satara, Ahmednagar, Solapur, and a central bus stand.
Fees for using the washrooms are yet to be decided; PMC is also refurbishing existing women's toilets.
