Bengaluru Engineer Drugged and Robbed by Woman Met on Dating App
A young man in Bengaluru who works as a software engineer met a woman on a dating app called Happn.
They decided to meet up and went to a restaurant, then a lodge.
The woman ordered food and gave the man a drink that made him fall asleep.
When he woke up, the woman was gone, and so were his gold jewelry, cash, and other belongings, which were worth a lot of money.
He reported it to the police, who think she drugged him and are investigating.
A 26-year-old software engineer in Bengaluru was robbed of Rs 6.89 lakh in valuables.
He met the accused, identified as Kavipriya, on the Happn dating application.
The incident took place after they met on November 1 and went to a lodge.
The engineer was allegedly drugged through food or water, after which the woman fled with his gold ornaments and cash.
A case of theft and cheating has been registered by the Indiranagar police.
