Karnataka BJP Forms Fact-Finding Team Over Hanur Shootout
Some people were suspected of hunting animals without permission in a forest in Karnataka.
Forest guards fired their guns, and three of those people died.
This happened early in the morning on August 15.
Many people want to know exactly what happened and why the guards fired.
A big political party called the BJP wants to find out the truth too.
So the BJP sent a special team of leaders to visit the forest.
The team will look at the place where it happened and write a report.
The report must be finished within one week.
The state government is also checking what happened separately.
All of this is to figure out the facts and make sure everyone is treated fairly.

Three suspected poachers were killed in an exchange of fire with forest department personnel on August 15.
The incident occurred at around 5:00 a.m. near Shaagya in the Holemuradatti forest of the Hanur wildlife range.
The team includes N Mahesh, Lakshmi Ashwin Gowda, Anil Thomas, C S Niranjan Kumar, and Hanur Venkatesh.
The state government has ordered a magisterial probe, with Kollegal Assistant Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Meena investigating.
