Kerala Opens New Forest Workspaces With High-Speed Internet for Professionals
Kerala has created places where people can work from inside forests and mountains.
These workspaces are in Gavi and Suryanelli.
They have internet so people can join meetings and do their jobs.
Gavi offers speeds of about 100 Mbps, while Suryanelli offers up to 500 Mbps.
Generators help keep the power on when electricity stops.
Visitors also get meals, tea and local coffee.
After working, they can go boating, watch birds or take guided nature walks.
The package lasts four days and three nights.
It costs ₹14,000 per room before taxes.
The Kerala Forest Development Corporation launched workation programmes at Gavi and Suryanelli.
BSNL provides internet speeds of about 100 Mbps at Gavi and up to 500 Mbps at Suryanelli.
The facilities include power backups, extra outlets, discussion areas, outdoor routers and meals.
Guests can take part in nature walks, boating, birdwatching and wildlife trails after work.
The four-day, three-night package costs ₹14,000 per room plus taxes, with bookings available through the KFDC website.
