South Composers Dominating Bollywood: Aman Pant's Insights

Aman Pant, a music composer, talked about why many composers from South India are now working in Bollywood.

He said that South Indian cinema is very popular right now, and Bollywood is borrowing ideas from it.

This is why South composers are being asked to work on Hindi films.

Pant also mentioned that understanding the language is important, which is why Hindi composers don't often work in South Indian films.

He believes that in the future, Bollywood composers might also start working in South Indian films.

Pant also shared his thoughts on how music has changed over the years.

He said that in the 1990s, songs were more melodic, but now they are shorter and made for social media reels.

He thinks that people's patience for long songs has decreased, but maybe in a few years, melodic songs will come back.
