Time Traveler Memoir Adaptation in Development
Dr. Ronald Mallett, a theoretical physicist, wrote a book about his life's work trying to make time travel real.
He wants to build a time machine to see his dad again, who died when he was young.
Now, his book is being turned into a movie by producers Tom Brittney and Josh Green.
The movie will be a mix of different genres and will tell the story of a boy's promise and a scientist's dream.
Before this, famous director Spike Lee tried to make a movie about the book but it didn't happen.
The movie is hoped to inspire people to dream big and believe in the impossible.
Film adaptation of Dr. Ronald Mallett's memoir 'Time Traveler' in development by Wild Nest Pictures and Jagman Productions.
Mallett, a theoretical physicist, is known for his theories on time travel and was inspired by H.G. Wells and Albert Einstein.
The memoir details Mallett's 30-year research in theoretical physics and his goal to build a time machine to reunite with his late father.
The film will be a genre-blending drama exploring a boy's promise, a scientist's obsession, and the dream of bending time.
Previous adaptation attempt by Spike Lee in 2008 did not materialize.
