Grok Models Roll Out Across Microsoft Copilot and Workplace Tools
Satya Nadella announces Grok rollout to Copilot, expanding Microsoft’s AI offering · firstpost.com

Microsoft is adding xAI’s Grok models to Microsoft Copilot.

This lets users choose Grok instead of Microsoft’s default AI models for some queries.

Grok 4.1 Fast became available in preview for US-based Copilot Studio builders in February 2026.

Grok 4.6 is also available through several GitHub Copilot plans.

Organizations must choose to turn on Grok in Copilot Studio.

xAI has made Grok add-ins for PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Some of these add-ins are free for Microsoft 365 users, while Outlook requires paid subscriptions.

Grok can also connect with Microsoft workplace services to automate tasks.
