Fadnavis Claims Credit for Thackeray Reunion
Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, said he was the one who brought together Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, who are cousins and had not been on good terms for a long time.
They got together because they think it will help them in the elections.
Fadnavis also said that his party, the BJP, and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena will work together in the next big elections in 2029.
There have been some fights between them, but Fadnavis says everything is fine now.
He also told the media not to spread false stories about fights within their group.
Devendra Fadnavis claimed credit for reuniting Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, saying he did what no one else could.
The Thackeray cousins reunited ahead of civic polls, aiming to strengthen their political position in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
Fadnavis dismissed the significance of the Thackeray reunion, stating it was a political compulsion and unlikely to impact elections.
Fadnavis reaffirmed that the Mahayuti alliance, including the BJP and Shinde-led Shiv Sena, will contest the 2029 elections together.
Fadnavis addressed internal disputes, denying poaching allegations and criticizing media for fueling rift narratives.
