Mumbai Atal Setu Toll Rates and Reliefs
The Atal Setu is a big bridge that connects Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
It was opened in 2024 and helps people travel faster between these cities.
The government has decided to give a 50% discount on the toll for cars and SUVs until the end of 2026.
Electric cars and buses don't have to pay any toll at all.
There are also plans to connect this bridge to the Coastal Road and the Navi Mumbai International Airport, which will make travel even smoother.
This will help people move around more easily and improve the transport system in the area.
The Atal Setu is an 18.2 km, six-lane bridge connecting Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, inaugurated on January 12, 2024.
The Maharashtra cabinet has extended a 50% toll discount on the bridge until December 31, 2026.
Current toll rates: Rs 250 for cars/SUVs (single journey), with complete exemption for electric vehicles and buses.
CIDCO plans to link Atal Setu to the Coastal Road and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) for improved connectivity.
The project includes building six ramps at the Shivajinagar Interchange, pending environmental approvals.
