AMD Unveils Ryzen AI Embedded P100 and X100 Series
AMD has introduced two new processor series called Ryzen AI Embedded P100 and X100.
These processors are designed for use in cars, factories, and other systems that need smart AI capabilities.
The P100 series comes in different versions with 4 to 6 cores and can handle up to 50 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) for AI tasks.
It also supports high-quality graphics for displays and can work in very hot or cold environments.
The processors use advanced technology to make them faster and more efficient than previous models.
They also support various software platforms to enable secure and real-time applications.
Higher core versions with 8 to 12 cores for P100 and up to 16 cores for X100 will be available later in 2026, targeting more advanced AI applications like robotics.
AMD unveiled the Ryzen AI Embedded P100 and upcoming X100 processors for AI applications in automotive, industrial, and autonomous systems.
The P100 series offers 4 to 6 core variants with up to 50 TOPS AI inference power, three times more than the prior Ryzen Embedded 8000 series.
RDNA 3.5 graphics support up to four 4K120 or two 8K120 displays, with 35% faster rendering than the previous generation.
The processors feature 4nm Zen 5 and 5c cores with boosts up to 4.5GHz, offering up to 2.2 times single-threaded and multi-threaded performance improvements.
The P100 series is suitable for industrial PCs, smart cameras, medical devices, and next-gen vehicle infotainment, with higher core models arriving later in 2026.
