BJP scoffs at Revanth's claim over morphed PM content FIRs

Two big political groups in India, the BJP and the Congress, are arguing in the state of Telangana.

Some people shared bad and changed pictures of India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

The police in Hyderabad registered cases about this against a social media company called Meta India and others.

The Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, said he should get credit for these police cases.

But BJP leader N Ramchander Rao says that is not right.

He says the police only acted because BJP members complained first.

Mr. Rao also asked why a police officer was moved to a new job just one day after he registered the cases.

He thinks it is unfair to punish an officer for doing his duty.

Mr. Rao says this kind of behavior is misleading and hurts the whole administration.
