Trescothick Backs Root to End Century Drought in Australia
Joe Root is a really good cricket player, considered the best in the world right now.
But there's one place he hasn't scored a really big score (a century) yet: Australia.
His coach, Marcus Trescothick, thinks this is about to change.
Trescothick said that Joe has been playing so well lately and feels so confident in his game that he's sure Joe will finally hit that big century when the big games, called the Ashes, start in Australia.
Joe has scored lots of big scores in other places, but Australia has been a tough place for him.
Even though Joe has never scored a hundred there, his coach is betting on him because he's playing his best cricket.
