Andhra Pradesh Minister Lays Foundation for Compressed Bio-Gas Plant
A special minister in Andhra Pradesh helped start building a new factory that will make clean fuel called compressed bio-gas.
This gas will be made from farm leftovers like straw and animal waste.
It's a big project that costs over 100 crore rupees and will help the environment by using waste.
It's also expected to create more than 500 jobs for people living nearby.
The government hopes this will make Andhra Pradesh a leader in clean energy.
This is part of a bigger plan to build factories and create jobs across the state.
Foundation stone laid for a Rs 102.12-crore Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plant in Vizianagaram district.
The plant will process agricultural waste, paddy straw, napier grass, and cattle manure to produce bio-gas.
Project is expected to generate employment for over 500 local residents.
The CBG plant will be established on 13.82 acres with a daily processing capacity of 20 tonnes.
