Odisha CM: Success in Govt Service Is Citizens' Impact
A leader named Mohan Charan Majhi is the Chief Minister of Odisha, a state in India.
He went to a big job fair called the Rozgar Mela in the city of Bhubaneswar.
There, he gave job letters to 1,326 new government workers.
He told them that having a government job means helping people.
He said the most important thing is how much you help citizens, not how important your title is.
He asked them to listen to people's problems and fix them quickly and with respect.
He wants government help and services to reach every person, even those in the farthest villages.
He also said that since June 2024, more than 45,000 people have gotten government jobs in Odisha.
Companies have promised to invest lots of money, which could create about two million new jobs.
He said people are starting to move back to Odisha because more job chances are coming.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi distributed appointment letters to 1,326 newly recruited candidates at the 16th Rozgar Mela in Bhubaneswar.
Majhi said success in government service is measured by the difference one makes in citizens' lives, not by the position one holds.
The recruits joined nine state government departments, including Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Energy, Health & Family Welfare and Skill Development & Technical Education.
Since June 2024, 45,408 people have been provided government employment in Odisha.
