Stellan Skarsgård to Receive Honorary Heart at Sarajevo Film Festival
Imagine a big movie party in Sarajevo, called the Sarajevo Film Festival.
This year, they're giving a special award to actor Stellan Skarsgård.
He's been in lots of movies like 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and some superhero films!
He's also been a friend to the festival for a long time, helping out with things like scholarships for young filmmakers.
The award is like saying 'thank you' for all the great movies he's made and for being a friend.
The festival itself is happening in August, so lots of people will be able to see him honored.
Stellan Skarsgård will receive the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival.
The actor has been a long-time friend of the festival and a supporter of the Katrin Cartlidge Foundation.
Skarsgård's international breakthrough came in 1982 with 'The Simple-Minded Murderer', winning a Silver Bear.
He has starred in many films, including 'Breaking the Waves', 'Pirates of the Caribbean', and the MCU's 'Thor'.
The Sarajevo Film Festival will run from August 15 to 22.
