Punjab CM to visit Netherlands, Czech Republic to invite investments
Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, is going on a trip with a group of officials to the Netherlands and Czech Republic.
They want to invite people to invest in Punjab.
Before this, they will go to Mumbai.
The government had earlier said no to a similar trip to the UK and Israel, but now they are allowing this trip.
The Indian Embassy in the Netherlands is helping to set up meetings for the Chief Minister to talk about investing in Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will lead a delegation to the Netherlands and Czech Republic from February 7 to invite investments.
The delegation includes Industries Minister Sanjeev Arora, Chief Secretary KAP Sinha, and other officials.
This trip follows the MEA's denial of political clearance for a previous trip to the UK and Israel in January.
The MEA has given a positive response for the forthcoming trip, and the Indian Embassy in the Netherlands is organizing meetings.
Before the Netherlands trip, the CM will lead a delegation to Mumbai on February 3 and 4.
