Traffic Diversions for Secunderabad Elevated Corridor Construction
Imagine they are building a new bridge high above the road in Secunderabad.
To build it safely, they need to close a part of the main road near Rajiv Gandhi Statue Junction and Balamrai for about nine months, starting on Thursday, October 30.
This means cars and buses can't use that part of the road in either direction.
If you need to go to places like Panjagutta or Tank Bund, you'll have to take different, longer routes.
The police have suggested several alternative paths depending on where you are coming from, so make sure to check the signs and plan your trip to avoid getting stuck in traffic jams.
Traffic diversions are in effect for approximately nine months starting Thursday, October 30.
The diversions are necessary for the construction of an elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to Dairy Farm Road.
The road stretch between Rajiv Gandhi Statue Junction and Balamrai in both directions will be closed.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid disruption.
Specific alternative routes are provided for traffic coming from Balanagar, Suchitra, Tank Bund/Ranigunj, and Annanagar.
