HC Allows Construction of Seed Access Road to Amaravati

HC Allows Construction of Seed Access Road to Amaravati

In the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, the government wanted to build a road called the Seed Access Road to the city of Amaravati.

Some farmers who owned land along the way were upset about it.

They said the government did not follow the rules and did not pay them for their land.

So the farmers asked a big court called the High Court to stop the road from being built.

The government told the court that it followed all the rules.

It even tried to give the farmers money, but the farmers would not accept it.

The judge listened to both sides carefully.

He saw that most farmers had agreed to give their land, and a lot of the road was already finished.

Because of this, the judge decided the road could keep being built.

He dismissed the farmers' requests, so the court case was over.
