Modi Calls for Faster, Modern Public Service Delivery

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said government services need to become faster.

He compared this need with the quick services people now expect in everyday life.

He said artificial intelligence could help provide rapid, real-time solutions.

Modi also said civil service exams should test more than what candidates know.

They should also explore why candidates want to join government service.

He said the goal should be to find people motivated to serve the public, not just hold public office.

He expects young people to demand more as India becomes more urbanised.

He said government services must keep up with these changing expectations.
