32-Year-Old Woman Shot Dead by Partner in Rishikesh
A 32-year-old woman named Preeti Rawat was sadly killed by her partner, Suresh Gupta, in Rishikesh.
Preeti worked at a hospital and lived alone after her divorce.
She met Gupta a few years ago, and they started a relationship.
Gupta wanted to marry Preeti and even sold his family's property to buy a house, but he couldn't find a suitable one.
This caused arguments between them.
Police think Gupta killed Preeti because he was upset about not being able to get a divorce and buy a house.
The police are still investigating the case.

A case has been registered against Gupta under section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder, and the investigation is ongoing.
