Tezpur University Students Demand Centre Release Delayed Enquiry Report

Tezpur University Students Demand Centre Release Delayed Enquiry Report

Students and researchers at Tezpur University want the government to publish an enquiry report about the university.

They say the enquiry committee has finished its work and submitted the report.

However, the report’s findings have not been made public.

The enquiry examined problems linked to the university’s administration and its former Vice-Chancellor, Prof Shambhu Nath Singh.

Students are also concerned about money, student welfare, and the delayed convocation for the 2025 graduating class.

They want the Union Ministry of Education to give them a written response.

They say making the report public would improve transparency and trust.

If they do not receive a meaningful response, they may intensify their protest.
