Court Bars Media From Calling Rajesh Khanna’s Bungalow Haunted
A famous house in Mumbai used to belong to Bollywood star Rajesh Khanna.
A businessman named Shashi Kiran Shetty bought it and built a new house but kept the name Ashirwad.
Some websites and videos said the house was haunted or cursed.
Shashi asked the court for help.
The Bombay High Court said those claims were false and hurt his reputation, so it told media not to use those words until the next hearing.
The order will stay until August 21, 2026.

The order bars media and online platforms from calling the former Rajesh Khanna bungalow Ashirwad haunted, cursed, or unlucky.
Shashi Kiran Shetty, the current owner, sued after online content harmed his reputation and privacy.
The court found the descriptions to be prima facie defamatory and interfering with the owner’s right to live peacefully.
The interim relief will remain until the next hearing on August 21, 2026.
