Mumbai Man Seeks Shop Possession After 25-Year Wait
Imagine someone buys a shop at an auction in Mumbai, but years later, they still can't use it.
That's what happened to Hemant Jain, who bought a shop once owned by a famous person.
Even though he won the bid in 2001, he's still trying to get the keys!
He promised the court he wouldn't sell it to anyone with bad connections.
He even got the property registered in his name in 2024, but it's still not his to use.
Now, he's gone to a special court to ask for help getting his shop so he can finally use it.

Jain won the auction for the shop in September 2001 but has yet to receive possession.

Jain submitted an affidavit in 2001 agreeing not to sell the property to anyone with links to Dawood.
