Tata Technologies: $100K H-1B Fee to Alter Future Plans
The US government will start charging companies $100,000 for each H-1B visa, which allows them to hire foreign workers.
Tata Technologies, a global tech company, says this won't immediately affect them.
The company stated that the recent imposition of $100K fee on H-1B visa petitions by Trump administration will alter future resourcing plans.
However, they are less reliant on these visas than some competitors because they hire many local employees in different countries.
As such the fee is not expected to significantly alter their current strategy, but they will likely adjust hiring plans for the future.
Trump's H-1B visa fee hike will be $100,000 starting September 21, 2025.
Tata Technologies says the fee won't immediately affect operations.
The firm may change its future hiring plans due to the fee.
Tata Technologies hired 68 foreign workers using H-1B visas in 2025.
The company's staffing model, with local employees, limits visa dependency.
