Farmers Protest Crop Damage Aid in Nashik
Some farmers in Nashik, Maharashtra, were very upset because they didn't get the money they needed to fix their damaged crops.
So, they climbed up a big water tank, just like in a famous Bollywood movie called 'Sholay'.
They shouted and asked the government to help them.
This isn't the first time people have done this.
In 2018, some villagers did the same thing to support a famous activist named Anna Hazare.
And in 2012, people in Jalgaon climbed a water tank because they needed water for their village.
The farmers in Nashik want the government to give them the money they think they deserve for their damaged crops.
Farmers in Nashik protested on a water tank for crop damage compensation.
Protest style was inspired by the Bollywood film 'Sholay'.
Eight farmers stood on the tank while two others were near the ladder.
Similar protests occurred in 2018 and 2012 for different demands.
Protesters alleged irregularities and favoritism in the compensation process.
