APCPDCL Achieves 50K Rooftop Solar Units Milestone
The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APCPDCL) has successfully connected 50,114 rooftop solar units to the power grid, creating a total capacity of 180 MW.
This milestone was achieved under the PM Surya Ghar-Muft Bijli Yojana.
Initially, only 6,489 connections were made up to April 2025, but in the past year, an additional 43,625 systems were installed.
