ABVP Secures DUSU Sweep, Promises Safety and Better Facilities

ABVP won all three of the Delhi University student union posts mentioned in the report.

Yash Dabas became president, Riya Chhawdi became secretary, and Lakshya Raj Singh became joint secretary.

They defeated candidates from the Congress-affiliated NSUI.

The winners said they would work on student safety and better college facilities.

They also promised equal opportunities and a positive learning environment.

Chhawdi said women students’ concerns should be properly heard.

Singh said the victory meant the union must stay accessible to students.

ABVP leaders said students supported social harmony and nationalism.

They also criticized the role of outside political organizations in student elections.
